Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking an experienced Body Technician at our Moore, OK shop to examine and repair damaged vehicles, plan repair steps, and ensure on-time completion. You will use frame equipment, perform quality repairs, and supervise an apprentice when needed.

Certification in body repair and I-CAR welding are preferred, with background check required. We offer medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) with match, paid holidays, and a performance-based compensation

Qualifications

• Frame machine operation experience.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical gear, and trim to access areas.
• Participates in required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using tools.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures when needed.
