Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver top-tier customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles back to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while ensuring speed, quality and customer excellence across the team.

You will work with fellow technicians to meet KPI goals, use cutting tools and fillers, and restore vehicles with factory-approved finishes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with limited supervision.
• Strong understanding of repair tools and methods.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Use tools to repair vehicle sections.
• Hammer out dents and apply fillers as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames for structural repair.
• Replace or repair parts and glass as needed.
• Weld and repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair.
