Job summary

The Boyd Group Services is hiring an Auto Body Technician in Birmingham, AL to deliver precise repair and customer-focused service. The role involves disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles, realigning chassis, replacing parts, and painting to factory standards.

You will work with a team to meet KPIs, operate under the WOW plan, and uphold quality and speed in every repair. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of repair methods and proper use of tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Repair dents, replace parts, realign chassis.
• Weld, repaint, and finish vehicles.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
