Gerber Collision & Glass in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair and quality workmanship. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition, aligning chassis and replacing parts as needed, with an emphasis on speed, accuracy, and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus either a technical school program or a three-year apprenticeship in auto body

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Able to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work with other repairers in shop.
• Must lift up to 30 pounds and work in noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Repair or replace glass and interior components as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
