Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking an experienced auto body repair professional to examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and manage the repair process from start to finish. The role requires coordinating with the team to keep repairs on schedule and delivering high‑quality results.

The position involves deciding between repair and replacement based on safety, cost and cycle time, with opportunities to lead apprentices and implement best practices across our broad network of shops.

Qualifications

• Experience using a frame machine.
• I-CAR welding certification or equivalent preferred.
• Understanding of vehicle repair processes per manufacturer.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs with on-time focus.
• Decides between repair vs. replace based on safety, cost, cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and hardware to access areas.
• Attends safety meetings as required.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs apprentices and explains procedures as needed.
