Job summary

Crash Champions, a leader in collision repair with over 25 years of experience, is seeking skilled technicians to examine damaged vehicles and manage repair plans. The role involves coordinating with teammates, performing high-quality repairs, and making strategic decisions about repairs versus replacements to ensure safety and efficiency.

This position operates in a fast-paced shop environment with a commission/flag-rate pay structure.

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates with team on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and window equipment to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
• Directs an apprentice and explains procedures when needed.
