Gerber Collision & Glass in Indiana is seeking an Auto Body Technician dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience through precise repair and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while supporting speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, or completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship; ability to read job orders; teamwork with other repairers; and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or completed technical program or apprenticeship.
• Must understand how to read and interpret job orders with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other auto body repairers.
• Proficiency with tools used in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents, structural issues, and realign chassis as needed.
• Replace damaged parts and glass; weld and fit components.
• Paint and finish vehicles to factory specs or agreed standards.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
