Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide meticulous vehicle repair and exceptional customer experience, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and repaint while aligning with team KPIs and representing the brand with integrity.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a technical training path or apprenticeship. Safe work in a noisy environment and lifting up to 30 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer.
• Must be able to read job orders with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts, and paint vehicles as needed.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
