Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition while delivering an outstanding customer experience. You’ll plan repairs, disassemble, repair, reassemble, realign chassis, replace parts and glass, weld, and repaint to factory specifications.

The role supports safety and quality KPIs across the shop and requires a high school diploma or equivalent and technical training or an apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience in auto body repair required.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles using tools.
• Realign chassis and frames; replace parts and glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint with factory specifications.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repaired vehicles.
