Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Minnesota is seeking an Auto Body Technician who will assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, disassemble and reassemble components, and uphold our commitment to speed, quality, and customer excellence.

You will plan repairs, prepare cost estimates, realign chassis, replace parts and glass, weld and repaint to factory specs, and ensure work meets labor time guidelines while inspecting finished vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Able to read and follow job orders; work with others; inspect quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates using tools.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint to factory specs.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
