Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through precise assessment and quality repairs, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign chassis, replace damaged parts and glass, and collaborate with teammates to meet labor and quality KPIs while representing the brand with every interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers using various tools.
• Hammers out dents and repairs body damage; realigns chassis and frames as needed.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts; repairs glass and interior parts.
• Welds, fits parts, and prepares/repaints vehicles to spec; inspects work to ensure quality.
