Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an experienced Collision Technician at the Deerfield Beach Repair Center to complete disassembly, assess damage, and perform repairs to 100% repair plans. You will identify required repairs, follow work orders, and minimize cycle time while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include dent repair, part replacement, welding, tool operation, and final inspections. A 2-3 year background in collision repair and a valid driver’s license are required to join our

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage to prepare a 100% Repair Plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Plan work procedure: follow work order for all operations listed.
• Move and store parts; gain access to damaged areas with upholstery and components as needed.
• Hammer out dents, weld replacement parts, and reassemble after painting.
• Operate hand and power tools such as welders, soldering equipment, cutting torches and spray guns.
• File, grind, and sand surfaces before returning the vehicle to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and comply with procedures.
