Job summary

Classic Collision Tamarac Repair Center in Tamarac, FL is seeking a skilled Collision Repair Technician to join our team. In this role you will disassemble vehicles, assess damage, and plan a 100% repair procedure while ensuring repairs meet safety and quality standards.

You will use welding and power tools, follow work orders, and collaborate with estimators to minimize repair time. A valid driver’s license, 2–3 years of experience, and strong teamwork are required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage and preparing a 100% Repair Plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs are identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Plan work procedures by following the work order for all operations listed.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical/hydraulic components to access damaged areas and store parts.
• Mend damaged body by hammering, filling dents and welding; ensure gaps and fits meet industry standards.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, blocks, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before turning the vehicle over to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Comply with all Classic Collision SOPs, safety rules and guidelines; perform other related duties as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
