Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to disassemble vehicles, assess damage, plan repairs, and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will follow work orders, repair or replace components, and collaborate with estimators and the Paint Dept. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of collision experience and I-CAR/ASE certifications, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist collision estimators in assessing damage and prepare a 100% Repair Plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure according to work orders for all operations.
• Remove upholstery, electrical components, and related parts to access damaged areas.
• Repair or replace damaged parts and ensure proper fit and finish.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools and test repaired surfaces.
• Inspect and test drive vehicles to verify safety and quality standards.
• Comply with all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
