Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an experienced Collision Repair Technician to assist estimators by disassembling vehicles, identifying required repairs, and planning efficient repair procedures. You will remove components, perform bodywork, and weld or replace parts to industry standards while using a variety of hand and power tools.

The role requires attention to safety and comprehensive inspection of finished vehicles.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in preparing repair plans.
• Identify repairs to minimize supplements and reduce repair time.
• Plan work procedures following work orders.
• Remove upholstery and access damaged areas as needed.
• Hammer out dents, weld parts, and fit replacement panels to industry standards.
• Operate hand and power tools including welders and grinders.
• Finish surfaces before handing to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality.
