Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an experienced auto collision repair technician to join its team. The role focuses on disassembly, repair planning, welding, bodywork, and quality checks to deliver safe, high-quality repairs.

You will work with hand and power tools, inspect finished vehicles, and ensure procedures meet industry standards. 18+ required, 2-3 years collision repair preferred, and a valid driver's license is necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team.
• Able to read and comprehend written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle to assist estimators in preparing repair plan.
• Identify repairs to minimize supplements and time.
• Plan work procedure following work order.
• Remove upholstery and equipment to access damaged area as needed.
• Mend dents, weld parts, and ensure gaps meet industry standards.
• Operate welders, soldering equipment, cutting torch and other tools.
• File, grind and sand repaired surfaces before paint.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality.
• Comply with SOPs, safety rules and guidelines.
