Job summary

Classic Collision is hiring for a collision repair technician. The role involves disassembling vehicles, planning and executing repairs, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout the repair process.

Responsibilities include removing components to access damage, repairing body panels, and preparing surfaces for painting, while maintaining team collaboration and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2-3 years of collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Customer-focused attitude and ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicles to assist estimators in assessing damage and planning repairs.
• Identify needed repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedures and follow work orders for all operations.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to access damaged areas, store parts to prevent damage.
• Repair body panels by hammering, filling dents, and welding parts; ensure proper gaps and fits.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, grinder, sander, etc.).
• Finish surfaces and prep for paint by filing, grinding, and sanding.
• Inspect and test drive vehicles to ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned while following SOPs and safety rules.
