Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Mount Pleasant, SC. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition, aligning frames and replacing damaged sections with care to quality and speed.

You will prepare cost estimates for customers, use various tools, and ensure repairs meet our WOW standards. A high school diploma or equivalent and technical training or apprenticeship are preferred, with strong teamwork and safety focus required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Completion of a technical school program or apprenticeship is a plus.
• Ability to read job orders and follow repair procedures with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles per factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
