Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is looking for an Auto Body Technician to drive exceptional customer experiences by accurately repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, realign, and reassemble vehicles, using various tools to ensure quality and speed in service.

Responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, aligning frames, replacing parts, and painting to factory specifications while adhering to safety and procedure guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship is expected.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to correct structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Repair and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Prepare cost estimates for customers and meet labor time guidelines.
• Inspect completed work for quality and safety.
