Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to expertly assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will dismantle, repair, and reassemble cars while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, repairing dents, realigning frames, and restoring glass with attention to safety and standards. Strong teamwork and safety focus are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates; use tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with parts; repair glass and windshields.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
