Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate Autistic Emotional Support Facilitators to help students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally in school settings. The role emphasizes ABA-informed behavioral support, collaboration with teachers and specialists, and data-driven progress tracking.

Experience with autism and behavioral or emotional needs is valued, with opportunities for professional development and growth within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience with autism and ABA strategies.
• Familiar with data collection and de-escalation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with autism or emotional/behavioral needs.
• Implement behavioral intervention plans and strategies from IEPs.
• Apply ABA principles to reduce challenging behaviors and reinforce positive replacement behaviors.
• Collect and maintain behavioral data to monitor progress and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school teams.
• Support students during classroom activities and transitions.
• Promote a safe, structured learning environment.
