Job summary

Devereux CARES Center for Autism Research and Education Services (CARES) in Downingtown, PA seeks a Job Coach to guide adolescents and young adults with autism toward community employment opportunities. You will supervise and train students, coordinate with employers, and track progress to help them gain independence.

The role offers a Monday–Friday 8am–4pm schedule with a 52-week year, competitive hourly pay, and benefits eligibility after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, social work, or related field preferred. High school diploma required.
• Two years experience with adolescents and young adults with developmental disabilities or behavior disorders in transition/employment setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise, train, and coach students within community-based employment training sites.
• Work with students to increase independence and employment productivity.
• Act as liaison between employer/community sites and Devereux CARES.
• Collaborate with team to assess skills and participation levels.
• Document progress and involvement of students.
• Provide input on participation, functioning, and progress toward goals.
