Kids for the Future is seeking dedicated Job Coaches to support adults diagnosed with autism in maintaining employment. You will assist with transportation, guide interactions with coworkers, and help individuals understand responsibilities, promoting independence on the job.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the individual served and coworkers to promote successful outcomes.
• Participate in the implementation and monitoring of personalized programs, autism-specific strategies, and innovative solutions to generate successful outcomes.
• Engage with the person served during shift, exploring ways to increase independence and simplify tasks.
• Observe the worker to ensure tasks are performed safely and as prescribed, and demonstrate tasks to resolve issues.
• Write detailed shift notes with progress toward goals.
• Evaluate progress toward goals and identify new targets as previous ones are met.
