Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related behavioral challenges. Pay ranges from $23 to $27 per hour, with opportunities for weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

The role involves helping clients improve social and communication skills, documenting progress, and implementing plans created by BCBAs. Flexible hours may be available and mileage reimbursement is offered.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and adults with special needs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with mobile devices for documentation.
• English language proficiency required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 40-hour ABA training completed or in progress.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• PPD or Chest X‑Ray current.
• College coursework or related experience in psychology/education/social work.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social and communication skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Responsibilities:

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors
• Document child progress and milestones
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts

Qualifications:

• Passion for working with children and adults with special needs
• Excellent communication skills
• Technological proficiency including mobile devices for documentation
• Proficiency in the English language is required
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Successful completion of 40-hour and ABA Training. Training provided, must be completed prior to providing service.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Current PPD or Chest X Ray
• Ability to effectively elicit/ provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients)
• Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required
