Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children with Autism. The role focuses on helping children build social and communication skills and to reduce challenging behaviors.

You will document progress and follow behavior change plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. This position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits, with weekly paychecks and opportunities to contribute to meaningful outcomes in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs
• Strong communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development or a minimum of one year experience with children in roles such as Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician
