Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Vacaville, CA is seeking an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to help individuals with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

You will provide one-to-one behavior intervention, assist with daily activities, and support personal care tasks. A high school diploma or GED is required, with CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Training and supervision are provided, with flexible scheduling for part-time or full-time roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of experience with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work or related field preferred.
• Current in-person CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Children is required (or willingness to obtain).
• TB test updated within past 90 days (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas and crisis intervention.
• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing, and mobility.
• Implement and collect data for behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferred
• At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred
• Current in-person CPR/ First Aid certification for Adult & Children (or willing to get)
• Updated TB test within past 90 days (or willing to get)
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
