Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Dixon, CA is seeking an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with individuals who have developmental delays and challenging behaviors. This role offers competitive pay and supports a flexible schedule for part- and full-time work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with individuals with special needs and challenging behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work or behavioral sciences preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification in person (or willingness to obtain).
• TB test updated within past 90 days (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention.
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed.
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
