Maxim Healthcare Services in Dixon, CA is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavioral intervention services to individuals with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas; provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, dressing, and mobility.
• Implement and collect data for the goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
• Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferred
• At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred
• Current in-person CPR/ First Aid certification for Adult & Children (or willing to get)
• Updated TB test within past 90 days (or willing to get)
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
