Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring an Autism Aide/Behavior Technician to support children and adults with autism in home and community settings. You will work one-on-one with clients under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

You'll implement treatment plans, record progress, and help create engaging learning environments while traveling between client locations.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Plus one of the following: college coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field.
• Or at least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor, or similar child-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills
• Support positive behavior development
• Record session data and client progress
• Create engaging and structured learning environments

Education
