Job summary

Kay Services Inc – Autism Provider is seeking a Direct Care Worker to provide daily on-site support to autistic individuals in home and community settings in Anne Arundel County, MD.

You will assist with personal care, meals, and daily tasks, while helping clients develop social skills, communication, and routines. You'll implement care plans, document services, and collaborate with families, clinical staff, and other team members to ensure consistent, high-quality support.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
• Compassionate, patient, trauma-informed care.
• Follow individualized service plans and maintain documentation.
• Reliable, able to work independently and in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior direct care experience preferred.
• Willingness to complete required training (first aid/CPR, de-escalation, health and safety).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet background checks.
