Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking an Autism Specialist Professional / Behavior Therapist to join our New Hampshire team. This part-time, fee-for-service role offers a flexible schedule and ABA-based instruction to promote new skill development under a supervising BCBA.

The position requires a HS diploma, 2+ years’ experience with developmental disabilities, a valid driver's license, and availability after school and evenings. Telehealth options may be used as part of the client plan.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of experience with persons with developmental disabilities.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle access.
• Availability to work after school and evenings.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior support plans and provide ABA-based instruction under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Monitor client behavior, collect data, and report data to the supervising BCBA.

Part-Time schedule on YOUR TIME!

TheAutism Specialist Professionalwill be responsible for the implementation of clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior, and the provision of ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, at the direction of their supervising BCBA. The Autism Specialist Professionalwill monitor client behavior, collect data on client behavior and skill acquisition, and report the data back to supervising BCBA. The Autism Specialist Professionalwill work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA, either in-person or via a telehealth modality, and the client’s family, to support meaningful changes in client behavior.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or a GED
• At least two years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities
• At least 18 years of age
• Pass a criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
• Availability to work after school and evening hours
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Experience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• A compassionate approach to care

ABA Benefits:

• Northeast Family Services offers high-quality supervision of fieldwork experience for candidates seeking the BCBA or BCaBA credentials. A two-year contract is offered following successful completion of fieldwork experience.
• Northeast Family Services supports uncertified in obtaining the Registered Behavior Technician credential by offering RBT 40 hour training, initial competency assessment, ongoing skills-based supervision, and a $100 bonus upon obtaining RBT credential.
