Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) to join the Autism Center in Bay City, MI. This 40-hour weekly position involves delivering evidence-based ABA therapies under supervision of a BCBA, collecting data, and communicating progress to families.

The RBT will implement line therapy in a 1:1 setting with children with autism, maintain daily records, and collaborate with the care team to support individualized treatment plans within Mary Free Bed’s values

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3 years of experience working with children required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Education, Speech, Occupational Therapy or related field preferred.
• Registered Behavioral Therapist (RBT) training completion and exam to be completed within 3 months of initial competency assessment.
• Previous experience working with children with autism or RBT preferred.
• Therapy clinic experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to use email.
• Must be a team player and able to work independently within a collaborative setting.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety policies; awareness of patient rights.
• Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogen, BLS, or BLS Instructor within 180 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates excellent customer service when greeting and assisting patients and families.
• Contributes to patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and net operating margin targets.
• Assist patients and families and coordinate with BCBA as needed.
• Collects data and implements approved programs using applied behavior analysis.
• Maintain daily data collection, records, and written communication.
• Apply reinforcement appropriately throughout the day.
• Organize and participate in structured group activities with leader-prompter model and reinforcement.
• Maintain professional communication with families via notes and verbal updates.
• Carry out treatment plans during parent observations and progress communications.
• Support Manager/Coordinator in assigned duties and maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to RBT ethics and maintain credentials.
