Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, implementing individualized plans and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team, with the ability to lift and assist

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test as required.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Background check required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors while promoting positive outcomes for each child.
