Job summary

Centria is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. In this role, you will work one-on-one with clients, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA supervision.
• Collaborate with a team and follow training.
• Support safety and assist with occasional movement of clients.
