Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. Candidates should be patient, compassionate and eager to make a meaningful impact on each child and family.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Observe and document progress and behavior changes.
• Follow safety procedures and adapt activities to each child.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to adjust interventions.
