Job summary

Focus Behavioral Health Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Support Specialist to assist adults with autism and/or IDD at home and in the community. You will help build independence, implement positive behavioral strategies, and encourage meaningful community involvement.

A W-2 position with part-time hours, travel to clients, and supervision from experienced managers offers ongoing guidance and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, education, counseling, OT, speech, or behavioral analysis.
• 2+ years of experience supporting individuals with autism and/or IDD, documented on your resume.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and create/update BSPs & CIPs (typically quarterly)
• Train and consult with caregivers and support staff
• Attend team/ISP meetings as needed
• Monitor progress and document outcomes
• Be available for on-call crisis support (rare but required per waiver)
• Travel is required to meet those you will support
