Job summary

Devereux League City is seeking a part-time Behavior Support Specialist to assist with therapeutic support for individuals living with Autism and/or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a residential setting. The role focuses on reducing challenging behaviors and teaching daily living skills within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor or higher degree preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and valid driver license required.
• Experience: One year in a Psychiatric facility and with Autism/ID preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic support to individuals with behavioral issues.
• Work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Intellectual Disabilities in a residential setting.
• Create and follow individualized treatment plans and education plans.
