Job summary

Soar Autism Center seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team in the Denver area, focusing on autism and early intervention for children aged 2-6. You will implement naturalistic therapy, target gross and fine motor skills, feeding, and daily living activities, and co-treat with ABA, speech and psychology colleagues.

You’ll mentor RBTs, monitor progress, partner with families, and help expand our pediatric autism services through collaborative care and family

Qualifications

• OT degree with pediatric focus and current OT licensure.
• Experience working with children with autism or related developmental disorders.
• Strong commitment to early intervention and integrated care.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement naturalistic occupational therapy for children aged 2–6 in a center-based setting.
• Develop interventions to improve gross/fine motor skills, feeding, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with ABA, speech therapy, psychology; co-treat with SLPs.
• Mentor RBTs and guide OT goals in therapy.
• Monitor progress, update treatment plans, and communicate with families.
• Collaborate with families, set goals, provide coaching and support.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings.
