Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Arvada, CO is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team delivering early intervention services for children ages 2–6. You will plan developmentally appropriate OT, support motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills in a center-based setting and collaborate with SLPs, BCBAs, and psychologists.

We offer a compensation range of $86,000–$103,500 per year plus an annual performance bonus up to $3,800 and opportunities for clinical certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy, unless eligible for licensure based on a Bachelor’s degree.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate occupational therapy for children ages 2–6.
• Develop individualized interventions addressing fine and gross motor skills, feeding, sensory needs, and activities of daily living.
• Conduct assessments and develop coordinated treatment plans with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.
• Integrate occupational therapy goals into Soar’s ESDM-informed approach to early intervention.
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, engaging, individualized treatment.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so occupational therapy goals are reinforced throughout each child’s day.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and each child’s needs.
