Job summary

The Arc of the Ozarks is seeking an Autism Diagnostic & Intervention Clinician to join our interdisciplinary diagnostic team in Springfield, Missouri. This role welcomes Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts to conduct comprehensive autism evaluations and provide timely, actionable recommendations.

You will work with a Lead Psychologist and allied clinicians to assess, interpret, and document findings, develop intervention plans, and support

Qualifications

Hold a master's degree in their respective professional field.
Maintain active national certification: CCC-SLP, NBCOT or BCBA.
Hold an active, unrestricted professional license in Missouri or be eligible for Missouri licensure.
Strong clinical assessment, analytical and treatment-planning skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations within your professional scope of practice.
Administer, score, and interpret standardized autism-specific diagnostic measures.
Complete discipline-specific clinical observations and standardized assessments.
Collaborate with psychologists and other clinicians during interdisciplinary case conferences.
Contribute clinical findings to diagnostic outcomes using DSM-5-TR criteria.
Develop individualized treatment and support recommendations.
Provide consultation and recommendations to families, educational agencies, and community partners.
Prepare integrated clinical reports translating assessment findings into practical recommendations.
Provide short-term therapeutic intervention within your professional discipline.
Provide supervision or clinical instruction to graduate students as needed.
Complete clinical documentation within established quality and confidentiality standards.
