Job summary

Autism Treatment Center in Texas is seeking a Teacher’s Assistant to work full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, year-round. The TA will support students directly, implement educational and behavioral plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote student independence and safety.

Responsibilities include direct teaching, data collection, documentation, and transport/home activities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and two years of college or related experience.
• Ability to read and write; strong communication within a team.
• Comfort with following safety protocols and universal precautions.

Responsibilities

• Follow Autism Treatment Center policies and procedures.
• Communicate with students, caregivers, coworkers and supervisors.
• Implement objectives in IEP, BIP, and other protocols.
• Collect educational and behavioral data; complete required forms.
• Transport students to appointments and activities when needed.
• Attend meetings and trainings.
