Job summary

Helping Hands Family is seeking a Care Coordinator to guide families through intake, ensure documentation, and coordinate initial ABA service steps. This entry-level, compassionate role blends customer service with healthcare navigation in a hybrid setting.

Work from our King of Prussia Support Center 2 days per week and remotely on other days, supporting families as they begin ABA services and access necessary paperwork and approvals.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of healthcare customer service experience.
• Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism or other disabilities is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Passion for helping families access support for children.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate prospective clients on Helping Hands Family services.
• Communicate with clients during admissions regarding status and timelines.
• Assist families in obtaining intake paperwork, including physician communication.
• Gather and verify insurance information to determine covered services.
• Manage insurance case management, authorizations, and relations with care coordinators.
• Maintain data integrity in practice management and EMR systems (data entry and audits).
• Handle intake for new clients and data processing until onboarding of a Program Support Specialist.
