Job summary

Helping Hands Family in King of Prussia, PA is seeking an entry-level Care Coordinator to guide families through the intake process and coordinate initial steps to begin ABA services.

This hybrid role requires a compassionate, customer-focused attitude and strong attention to detail. You will educate families, gather paperwork, verify insurance, and support admissions from start to completion, helping families access essential services.

Qualifications

• 1+ year healthcare customer service experience.
• Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Passion for helping families access support for their children.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate prospective clients on the services offered by Helping Hands Family.
• Communicate with clients during the admissions process regarding status, timelines, and additional information needed.
• Assist families in obtaining necessary paperwork for the intake process, including communication with diagnosing physicians.
• Gather and verify insurance information to determine covered services.
• Manage insurance case management, including obtaining authorizations and maintaining relationships with care coordinators.
• Maintain data integrity in practice management and electronic medical records systems, including data entry and auditing.
• Manage intake for potential new clients, medical records, data entry, and processing for new markets until a Program Support Specialist is onboarded.

As a Care Coordinator at Helping Hands Family, you will guide families through the intake process, ensure all necessary documentation is completed, and coordinate initial steps to begin ABA services.

This entry-level position is perfect for someone with a compassionate, customer-focused attitude and a drive to make a direct impact. This is a hybrid role: teammates will work at our Support Center in King of Prussia 2 days per week, one week per month (assigned by manager) and work from home/remote on other days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate prospective clients on the services offered by Helping Hands Family.
• Communicate with clients during the admissions process regarding status, timelines, and additional information needed.
