Job summary

Cortica Care in Santa Ana, California is searching for a Behavior Technician to provide direct behavior therapy services to children with autism. Your role will include implementing strategies with children in various settings, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote effective treatment.

Qualifications

• Experience working directly with children is preferred.
• Must be available to work in the late afternoons and evenings.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with autism.
• Implement positive behavior strategies developed with BCBA.
• Fulfill all documentation requirements including data collection.

Skills

Experience working with children, preferably with autism

Valid California Driver’s license

Using electronic medical record systems

Using Microsoft Office products

Education

Registered Behavior Technician or willingness to obtain BCAT
