Job summary

Centria-Healthcare is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under a BCBA's guidance. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while keeping children engaged and safe.

We provide comprehensive training, so no prior experience is required. The role involves standing, walking, and assisting with activities; compensation ranges from $19 to $20

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans under supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Engage with families and participate in training provided.
