Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while ensuring safety and engagement throughout the day.

We provide comprehensive training, and the role offers an opportunity to grow within the Behavioral Analysis field; pay ranges from $19 to $20 per hour with benefits

Qualifications

Passionate about helping children with autism.
Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
18+ years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
