Job summary

Pediatrics Plus is seeking a Behavior Technician to implement behavior analytic services under close BCBA supervision. You will participate in IT tasks, data collection, and direct interaction with children and families in a collaborative pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
• Must be able to work with children birth to age 21 and families who are at risk.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Work directly under the supervision of the BCBA.
• Participate in the implementation of the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP).
• Participate in daily data collection.
• Enter data and update graphs, reporting data to the supervising BCBA.
• Assist in observational assessments with the BCBA (ABC data collection).
• Prepare and implement all materials for sessions as directed by the skill acquisition program.
• Implement appropriate teaching procedures and interventions based on behavior modification by the BCBA.
• Store notes, data, graphs, and documentation in HIPAA-compliant software.
• Maintain visual supervision of the child at all times; never leave a child unattended.
• Speak pleasantly to children, parents, and staff; represent the program positively.
