Job summary

Pediatrics Plus in Alma, AR is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to join our pediatric therapy team. You'll implement behavior analytic services under the supervision of a BCBA and support individualized treatment plans for children birth to 21. This role emphasizes data collection, teaching procedures, and maintaining a safe, supportive learning environment.

Starting wage is $14.00 per hour with opportunities for training and career growth in an interdisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Complete 40 hours of paid training within 90 days of hire.
• Pass the RBT competency assessment by supervising BCBA.
• Pass the RBT exam to become Registered Behavior Technician.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Work directly under the supervision of the BCBA.
• Assist in implementing the ITI? (ITP) - refer to BCBA plan.
• Participate in daily data collection and update graphs.
• Enter data and report data to supervising BCBA.
• Assist in observational assessments (ABC data collection).
• Prepare and implement materials for sessions as directed by the skill acquisition program.
• Implement teaching procedures based on BCBA-determined interventions.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Maintain constant visual supervision of the child.
• Represent the program positively to parents and visitors.
