Job summary

Pediatrics Plus in Russellville, AR seeks an Autism Specialist Trainee / Behavior Technician to support BCBA-led therapy for children with special needs. You will implement plans, collect data, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a supportive environment.

The role requires effective communication, organization, and a commitment to safety and confidentiality, with training provided. Starts at $14/hour and full-time hours available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Complete 40 hours of paid training by supervising BCBA within 90 days.
• Pass the RBT competency assessment conducted by supervising BCBA.
• Pass the RBT exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Work directly under the supervision of the BCBA.
• Participate in the implementation of the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP).
• Participate in implementation of daily data collection.
• Enter data and update graphs, reporting data to supervising BCBA.
• Assist in observational assessments with the BCBA, such as ABC data collection.
• Prepare and implement all materials for all sessions as directed.
• Implement teaching procedures and interventions based on BCBA guidance.
• Store notes and data in HIPAA-compliant software.
• Maintain supervision and professional conduct with the team.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and respectful interactions with children.
