Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills, while ensuring safety as needed.

Training is provided, and no prior experience is required. The role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a pay range of $17–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR Certification and First Aid Certification may be required.
• Tuberculosis test (within the last year) required.
• Pre-employment background check required.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sitting down and standing up from the floor or chair many times throughout the work day.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
• Running or moving quickly as needed to interact with and protect clients.
